Husbandism #41

Sunday, October 16th, 2011

David:  “Because I didn’t know I was going to roll up on Jenny from the Block (Jennifer Lopez) when I walked into the closet.”

What my husband said when I asked why he tried to stifle a giggle when he saw me in this hat.

30 for 30 Remix – Day 25

Tucking in your shirt is an advanced style maneuver- one I never thought I’d pull out of my fashion bag of tricks again.  I mean, I ‘tucked’ in high school, but I broke up with the fad the second I stepped into college.   But lately, I’m seeing ‘the tuck’ everywhere, which is why I decided to give it another go during Kendi’s 30 for 30 Remix Challenge

I kind of like it.

David kind of doesn’t.

What do you think?  Tuck or no tuck?  That is the question.

30 for 30 Remix – Day 15

While I love hats, scarves, and a big bunch of bracelets, nothing can accessorize an outfit better than my boys.  My little guys were riding their bikes when David snapped these shots and they stopped everything to pop in the picture.  How could I resist?

30 for 30 Remix – Day 4

Me:  “If I sit like this, can you see my shorts?  Because seeing my entire outfit is kind of the whole point of this 30 for 30 thingy.”

David:  “Oh yeah.  You can see ‘em.”

The conversation David and I had just prior to him snapping these shots for me.

I am wearing shorts.  Really, I am.

30 for 30 Challenge – Day 4

If you’re having a bad hair day, add a hat.  If you don’t want to wash your hair, add a hat.  If you’ve just worked out, have to pick up your preschooler, and don’t want to look like a dirt bag doing it, add a hat.  See?  Hats are handy.  I have several of them in my closet.  But the best part about this hat:  David bought it for me all by himself.

If The Hat Fits, Wear it.

For months, I’ve been hunting for a summer hat for my huge head.  And today, not only did I find a straw fedora, I found a straw fedora that fits!
