My New Year’s resolution: to stop trying to look like the women in magazines, especially since the women in magazines don’t even look like the women in magazines.

I think Kate Winslet looked great in her before picture–her hair was a little thin, but that might have been the hair stylist’s fault for not arranging it nicely enough. Otherwise she’s beautiful.

do you notice that kim’s face looks the same? they don’t even have to photoshop it.
that makes me feel worse about myself than the fake images in most magazines.
(okay, it doesn’t make me feel bad about myself at all, really.)
i guess this stuff doesn’t bother me but that’s because i have always been uber-aware of the fake reality. my mom done good in that department.
I’d like to resolve to look like an airbrushed, photoshopped version of me! :-p

Ooooor- we could just use photoshop on our mirrors. ( Do they make that, ’cause I will buy it) Great attitude, I just wish I could get a clear picture in my head of what it is to be more like me.
